Catch results of Dutch Greenland whalers beyond expectations according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haerlemsche courant dated 29 July 1684

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 26th referred to a list of Dutch Greenland whalers which made clear that the catch results were beyond the expectations. The whalers Vracht-Schuytje and Dorp Jisp were lost in the ice and the Wapen van Leyden was in problems with a hole in the ice caused by the ice. Other ships stuck in the ice probably with catch results of maximum 2 whales.
