IMO 9141546. Original bought for export but bought by the navy. Launched as a Micalvi-class large patrol craft by Astilleros y Maestranzas de la Armada, Talcahuano, Chile on 5 June 1996in 1996, and commissioned as PSG-77 on 30 June 1996 [ Jane’s Fighting Ships 1999-2000 claims as PSG 78 on 29 August 1996] and in 2000 modified, refitted and reclassified as a Hydrographic Services Patrol Boat (PSH). PSH=Patrullero de Servicio Hidrográfico.
Displacement 518 tons full load or maxium 532 tons and as dimensions 42.5 x 8 x 2.9. Class armament in 1999 was 1-4cm Bofors gun and 2-2cm Oerlikon guns
