Built by Sir Raylton Dixon and Company, Middlesbrough with yard number 496 for account of Booth Steam Ship Co. in 1903, converted into an armed merchant cruiser (M87) in 1914-1915, converted into a submarine depot ship in 1917, laid up in 1919, converted into destroyer depot ship Cochrane in 1938 and broken up in 1946. Armament as AMC 8-11.9cm/4.7 inch guns and 2-6pd guns,as depot ship 2-12pd anti aicraft guns. Crew numbered in 1917 238 men.
