French naval training vessel FS Belle Poule (A650) 1931-


Amsterdam, Netherlands 13 July 2023. Along side the le Mutin

France-flagged, MMSI 228796000 and call sign FBPU. Schooner. Dimensions 37.5 x 7,4 x 3.7 metres or 123.0 x 24.3 x 12.2 feet. Sail area 450 square metres/4,800 square feet. One 213 kW/285 hp Baudoin DNP 8 diesel engine. Speed using engine 9 knots.

Laid down by Chantiers de Normandie, Fecamp, France end July 1931, launched on 6 February 1932. Replica of a cod fishing vessel operating off Iceland until 1935. Used by the École Navale as trainig ship in European waters.
