Communist Chinese tuna fishery still small according to the Commercial Fisheries Review dated July 1967 No. 2

An item reported that the tuna fishery of Communist China were still in the infant stage with just a few 350-ton class vessel operating from Canton in the Indian Ocean and probably in the future in the Atlantic Ocean. The frozen tuna was exported to Europe and that moment tuna was not canned in China possible in the future.
