Auction at the Nieuwezyds Heeren Loogement, Amsterdam, Netherlands, Amsterdam on Monday 7 April 1755 of 1/32 share in the Dutch whaler De Vreede, fluyt ship, commandeur Wouter van Lienen (1), built in 1742, dimensions 112 x 28 2/11 x 10½ (?) x 6 10/11 feet,bookkeepers Anselmus and Anthony Hartsen. Sold to Gerrit Blaaupot Gerritsz for his master. Bound for Greenland.

1. Mentioned in 1756 als commandeur in the Davis Strait whaling for Anselmus and Anthony Hartsen, Amsterdam, zero catch results. Commandeur in the Greenland whaling 1744-1755, 1757 and 1766. For Hartsen 1754-1755 and 1757, catch results in 1755: 7 whales, 160 barrels whale blubber and 233 quardelen whale oil.
