Laid down by AG Vulcan, Stetting, Germany with yard number 244 in 1899, launched on 10 January 1900, completed in June 1900, acquired on 25 June 1900, requisitioned by the navy to become an auxiliary cruiser, conversion never completed and sold to be broken up in 1925.
