Norwegian cargo ship (ex-Lisken 1911-138) Hai Ping 1938-1941 (Lida Maru 1941-1945)

Norway-flagged, homeport Bergen, call sign LEJK. Gross tonnage 1,105 tons, under deck 969 tons, net tonnage 655 tons, deadweight 1,800 tons and as dimensions 226.1 x 36.5 x 15.8 x 15 (loaded) feet. Speed 9 (normal cruising)-10 (maximum) knots. Single screw. Built by Trondhjems Mek. Verksted, Trondheim, Norway in 1911, investigated at Bangkok, Thailand by Japanese on 9 December 1941, Norwegian flag forced to be lowered on 15 December, departed Japan-flagged on 23 December 1940 and sunk in an air attack on 16 January 1945.
