Malta convoy lost several ships according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 2 April 1942

An item reported that the last convoy to Malta lost one ship and one damaged at sea and one ship sunk and other damaged in harbor all during air attacks. It was believed that the main part of the cargoes except for the one sunk at sea could be salvaged and transported to Malta.
