An item reported the arrival of a division of our [American?] destroyers at Singapore on 11 December.(1)

Note

1. The Netherlands sent in December 1941 aircraft and warships from the Dutch East Indies to Singapore arriving in the morning of Wednesday 10 December according to a Dutch newspaper. Other sources reporting that several Dutch submarines operated out of Singapore, the cruiser Hr.M. Java arrived on 9 December just like 3 bomber squadrons.
