SS-193. part of Sargo-class preceded by Salmon-class succeeeded by Tambor-class, laid down by Mare Island Naval Shipyard, Vallejo, California, USA on 27 October 1937, launched on 1 April 1939, commissioned on 22 July 1939, probably sunk by the Japanese navy in the Ryukuy Islands on 12 January 1945 and stricken on 19 May 1945. Torpedoed and sunk on 16 December the Japanese cargo ship Atsutasan Maru.
2. Ordered on 1 January 1935, built by Tama Zosen Sh K.K., Tama, Japan in January 1937, requisitioned by the army, became an air defence ship (a Boku-Kikansen) and torpedoed by the American submarine USS Swordfish on 16 December 1944.
