Naval issues in Treaty of Sèvres needed to be modified according to the Weekly Intelligence Summary (W.I.S.) No. 10 dated 12 March 1921

An item reported that the Greek and Turkish delegations was proposed to modify the Treaty of Sèvres including the folowing naval issues:

-Turkey would have the permanent chairmanship of the Straits Commission

-the area of the Demilitarized Straits Zane was to be reduced

-a possible increase of the naval forces which Turkey was allowed under the Treaty.

Note

1. Signed on 10 August 1920 between France, United Kingdom, Italy, Japan and several other Allied powers included Greece and the Ottoman Empire whih was part of the Central Powers.
