No enemy submarine active on the North Atlantic convoy routes according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 12 December 1941

An item reported that between 27 November-4 December there had been no enemy submarine activities on the North Atlantic convoy routes. The submarines seemed to be concentrated in an area east and west of Gibraltar although some were active in the South Atlantic.
