Gorshkov (26 February 1910 Kamianets-Podilskyi, Ukraine-13 May 1988 Moscow, Soviet Union) was admiral o the fleet of the Soviet Union and played an important role in the Cold War in building a fleet capable to confrontate the NATO being Commander-in-Chief between 5 January 1956-9 December 1985.
