An item reported that the Finnish government intended to capture as large a part in the transit trade to Russia as possible when the general trade with Russia was restarted. For that purpose was proposed to increase the capacity of the harbours of Hango and Abe to be completed by May 1922. Daily were 75 trains to leave Hango for the Russian frontier. Estonia and Latvia were competitors for Finland in this race.
