Dutch whaler De Vryheid for sale at auction at Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1736

 

Shipbrokers Johannes Mont and Jan Kramp. Auction at Nieuwezyds Heeren Logement, Haarlemmerdyk, Amsterdam on Monday 15 October 1736 when the Boomklok stopped of the fluyt De Vryheid, commandeur Roelof Gerritsz. Built in 1722 and 1734 doubled. Dimensions  114¾ (prow) x 29.5 (first beam before large hatch within the hull) x 12 (depth of hold at first beam before large hatch on load line) x 6.8 (height verdeck first beam before large hatch) x  (height steering wheel area) Amsterdam foot.
