Laid down by New York Shipbuilding, Camden, New Jersey, USA on 27 June 1912, launched on 8 November 1913, commisioned on 11 February 1915, decommissioned on 6 June 1922, USCG CG-4 28 April 1924-, 18 November 1930, returned to navy on 22 May 1931, stricken on 5 July 1934 and sold to be broken up on 22 August 1934.
