Laid down as a tuna fishing vessel in the shipyards of Florimond-Guijardeau, France in 1926, launched on 19 March 1927, added to the naval school of Saint Servan, France for training pilotage personnel, in the Second World War flying British colors and used for intelligence tasks and since 1968 training ship for the French navy.
