Laid down by Thames Iron Works, Blackwall, London, England in 1875, launched on 1 December 1875, completed in 1878, modernized and rebuilt by Orlando, Livorno, Italy between 1901-1903, obsolete by the 1930s and sold to be broken up in 1935.
