British destroyer HMS Wanderer arrived at Rosyth, Scotland according to the weekly appreciation of matters of naval interest No. 61 for the week ended 14 February 1920

An item reported the departure on 13 February of the British destroyer HMS Wanderer from Nore towards Rosyth, Scotland arriving the same day.(1)

Note

1. D74. Admiralty modified W-class destroyer, preceded by S- and Parker-classes succeeded by Thornycroft type destroyer leaders Ambuscade and Amazon. Ordered in January 1918, laid down by Fairfield’s, Govan/Glasgow, Scotland on 7 August 1918, launched on 1 May 1919, commissioned on 18 September 1919, long range escort since 1943 and sold to be broken up on 31 January 1946.
