Japanese navy aircraft department founded at Takau, Taiwan in 1938
A letter of the German naval attache in Japan dated Tokyo, Japan 17 October 1938 referred to the press reporting that on 1 April 1938 at Takau, Formosa a navy aircraft department was founded.
