Austro-Hungarian river patrol boat Wels
Built by Ganz, Danibius&Co., Budapest, Hungaria. Commissioned on 14 March 1916, handed over to Serbia in December 1918 and to Hungaria in November 1920 and broken up in 1949. After Romania and Russia surrendered was part of the Danube-flotilla including the Wels stationed at the Russian Black Sea coast operating from Odessa, Ukraine on the rivers Bug and Dnepr. Tonnage 133 ton and as dimensions 44 x 6 x 1 metres. Speed 15 knots. Crew numbered 40 men. Armament consisted of 3/4-76 mm guns.
Austro-Hungarian river patrol boat E 1912-1913
Built at Glasgow, Scotland. Commissioned on 29 March 1912, within some weeks decommissioned, to expensive to be refitted by Ganz&Co. Danubius Werft, Budapest, Hungary, stricken in June 1913 and sold to a private at Budapest on 20 August 1913. Tonnage 12 ton and as dimensions 18 x 2.7 x 0.4 metres. Speed 22 knots. Crew numbered 15 men. Armed with 2 machine guns.
