British cruiser HMS Diadem 1939-1956 and Pakistani Babur 1956-1982 and Jahangir 1982-1985

Part of Dido-class Bellona-sub-class preceded by Arethusa-class succeeded by Fiji-class and were designed to replace the C- and D-classes cruisers. Laid down by R.&W. Hawthorn, Leslie and Co. Ltd., Hebburn-on-Tyne, England on 15 December 1939, launched on 26 August 1942, completed on 6 January 1944, decommissioned in 1950, laid up in reserve 1950-1956, sold to Pakistan on 29 February 1956, commissioned on 5 July 1957 and broken up in 1985.
