Polish Salvage Organisation (P.R.O.) executing salvage of the Eckhard according to a CIA report dated 28 July 1954

An item reported that the Polish Salvage Organisation (P.R.O.) since April 1951 among other salvage operations was employed in the salvage of the Eckard still submerged but in the meantime cut into two halves and which was to be scrapped.
