Kwinana Oil Refinery, Western Australia in operation according to the Australia Station Intelligence Summary dated 1 May 1955

An item reported that the Kwinana Oil Refinery, Western Australia was now in operation with an average of daily berthing by one tanker at the Refinery’s Wharf. The Refinery was connected with the Commonwealth Oil Refineries Limited’s petrol installation at North Fremantle, Western Australia by a high presuure pipe-line with a length of 17 miles.
