American sailing sealing ship Atlas in 1836-1937

Antarctic sealing ground South Atlantic. Tonnage 261 tons. Rigging ship. Captain Barnum, left New London on 17 May 1835 or 1836, returned on 9 April 1837 with 1,650 barrels sea-elephant oil.
