An item reported that between 14-18 August the shipping traffic from Gibraltar to the east consisted of 9 British steamships, 1 Portuguese steamship and 1 Danish steamship.

As part of a convoy: 1 British steamship, 1 Italian steamship, 1 tanker.

As part of a convoy: 2 British steamships, 1 Danish steamship.

As part of a convoy: 2 French passenger ships, 1 Greek steam ship, 1 Norwegian steamship.
