Danish people helping with rebuilding navy according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haarlemse Courant dated 15 December 1807

According to an item dated Copenhagen 28 November was the whole Danish population involved in rebuilding the navy. Some people gave decorated silver, others paid partly the building costs for the gun chaloupes which were now being build at the royal yards, some build for own account armed vessels on private yards and some delivered the Admiralty timber without asking money.
