Tunisian privateers quit succesful according to the Dutch magazine Maandelyksche Nederlandsche Mercurius De Maandelyksche Nederlandsche Mercurius dated September 1767

A tiding from Tunis reported that the Tunisian privateers daily brought in prizes, mostly small ships from Naples, Genoa and Corsica although recently a large Tuscan ship.
