US Maritime Commission buying freighters according to the Dutch newspaper Amigoe di Curacao dated 30 May 1941

An item reported that according to maritime sources that the Maritime Commission would buy the freighters Mormacdove, Mormacgull and Mormaclark now used on the South American coast routes.
