Coal costs for British, French and German navies according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag dated 17 May 1906

An item reported what the annual coal coasts were for a fleet. In 1904-1905 used the Royal British Navy for 1.485.683 pound sterling, the French navy 299.281 pound sterling and the German navy 7.251 pound sterling/ The last years were even more expensive for the British and French navies. The British navy spent in one year even 1.684.604 and the French 403.748 pound sterling.
