Dutch tanker Pendrecht torpedoed according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwsblad van het Noorden dated 20 December 1940

According tot tidings from New York received RadioMackay a radio message from the Dutch Pendrecht that she was torpedoed by a submarine 850 miles West of the northern point of Scotland. She was one of the most modern Dutch tankers, commissioned in 1939 and with a measurement of 10,746 tons.
