16 April. In the Ionian Sea fought a Turkish brig of war underway from
Constantinople towards Patras with 7 Greek vessels. Although a Greek fire ship
managed to set the mainsail in fire, managed the Turkish crew to cut the
mainmast while escaping towards Ithaca.
