Dutch frigate Zr.Ms. Jason replaced as guard ship by the frigate Zr.Ms. Sambre and steamship Zr.Ms. Ardjoeno destined abroad according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 27 April 1850

An item reported that on 1 May the Dutch frigate Zr.Ms. Jason was to be laid up, until this date serving as guard ship in the Nieuwe Diep, Den Helder, Netherlands. The recently from the Dutch East Indies returned frigate Zr.Ms. Sambre would replace her. The commanding officer and the etat major of the Jason were top be transferred to the Sambre. The steamship Zr.Ms. Ardjoeno captain lieutenant Voet would arrive in the Nieuwe Diep coming from Amsterdam, Netherlands to be prepared for a voyage abroad.
