Her crew numbered 839 men. The Harvey made armour consisted of a 12,7-20,3cm/5-8” thick belt. a 5,1-7,6cm/2-3” thick deck with the conning tower protected by 30,5cm/12” thick armour. The armament consisted of 4x1-20,3cm/8”/45 Pattern 1892 guns, 16x1-15,2cm/6”/45 Patheen 1892guns, 12x1-7,5cm/3.0”/50 guns, 20x1-4,7cm/1.9” /45 guns, 18x1-3,7cm/1.5”/23 guns and 5-38,1cm/15” torpedo tubes.
