Tegethoff-class

An item referred to the magazine Moniteur de la Flotte which reported that the Austrian navy intended to built another 3 dreadnought to replace the Monarch class built between 1895-1896.(1) At that moment were all ready 4 dreadnoughts being built (2).

Notes
1. Four ships with a designed displacement of 24.560 tonnes never realized.
2. The Tegethoff-class battleships consisting of the Viribus Unitis, Tegethoff, Prinz Eugen and Szent István-class, preceded by the Radetzy-class and succeeded by the Ersatz Monarch-class.
