The Polish minesweepers according to a CIA report dated 4 May 1953

An item reported that the Polish Navy possessed before the outbreak of the Second World War on 1 September 1939 and still in service over the minesweepers Czajka, Mewa, Rybitwa and Zuraw built between 1933-1938, with a displacement of 150 tons, a speed of 15 knots, a crew numbering 30 men and an armament consisting of 5 machineguns.

A second item reported that the Soviet Union handed after the Second World War over to the Polish navy and still in service the minesweepers Albatros, Czapla, Jaakolka, Jastrzeb, Kania, Kondor, Kormoran, Krogulec and Orlik. Built between 1944-1945 with a displacement of 130 tons, a speed of 10 knots, a crew numbering 32 men and an armament of 2-2cm anti aircraft guns and 4 machineguns.

A third item reported that after the Second World War the Polish navy purchased the minesweepers Delfin, Foka, Mors and Zodiak and which were still in service. The vessels were under a lend-lease construction handed over by the USA to the Soviet Union and since ten to Poland. With a displacement of 215 ton, a speed of 13 knots and an armament consisting of 2-2cm anti aircraft guns and 3 machineguns.
