Artist Kenneth King. Sunk as a result of a collision with the ss Thames on the Atlantic Ocean on 19 September 1941. Five of her crew members lost their lives, 3 others were wounded. Built by Harland&Wolff Ltd., Belfast, Ireland in May 1897. Gross register tonnage 1.071 tons, under deck 835 tons, net tonnage 629 tons and as dimensions 232.3 x 31.2 x 17.0 feet. United KIngom-flagged, homeport Dublin, call sign EIKL. Owned by Saorstat&Continental S.S. Co. Ltd.
