American standard merchant cargo ship design VC2-S-AP3 (Victory) in 1946

Modified design. Full scantling. Dimensions 455.3 (over all) x 62.0 (molded) x 38.0 (molded depth) x 28.6 (load draught molded) feet , deadweight 10,800 tons, gross tonnage 7,600 tons, net tonnage 4,600 tons and bale cubic capacity 453,000 cubic feet. The amidships located turbine propulsion with normal horsepower of 8,500 shp a speed of 17 knots. Prewar domestic cost 2,130,000 US dollars, domestic war cost 2,872,650 US dollars, unadjusted statutory sales price 1,065,000 US dollars and floor price 1,005,431 US dollars
