French minister Sarraut visiting French African colonies according to the Weekly Intelligence Summary No. 19 for the week ending 27 August 1921

An item reported that the French minister for Colonies Mr. Sarraut (1) intended to make a voyage along the French African possessons. Around the end of September he would sail with a cruiser to Dakar visiting Senegal, French Guinea [since 1958 Guinea], French Ivory Coast, French Togoland [the French part became in 1960 the Republic of Togo nowadays Togolese Republic], French Dahomey [became in 1975 Republic of Dahomey, nowadays Republic of Benin] and the Cameroons [French part became independent in 1960, nowadays officially the Republic of Cameroon].
