Germany reorganizing Danube flotilla according to the Dutch newspaper De Gooi- en Eemlander dated 20 June 1938

An item referred to the newspaper Daily Telegraph reported that German naval seamen guarded the Bristol Hotel in Vienna, Austria where the commander-in-chief of the German navy general-admiral Räder arrived. According to the rumors came he to Vienna to reorganize the Danube flotilla which was recently considerable strengthened with headquarters at Linz. Further more he would be busy with the recruitment in Austria of naval personnel.
